Why am I doing this FOURTEEN FUCKING YEARS later? idk it sounded fun at the time.

(so here is the plot that was going on during this time. here's a second post. tbh i wasn't really interested in it, but it was city-wide, so ICly Kiryu would have been dealing with it.)

(anyway, i'm just gonna note that kiryu would have suggested alastair to be a decepticon whether or not they were dating, it genuinely had nothing to do with that. frankly, Alastair was kind of already honorary-Decepticon-lite & in their orbit like. the entire time he'd been in the City & Kiryu knew that. so. i mean. he hacked the fucking Major on Starscream's behalf once, like, he was basically already halfway there lmao. see also, his power letting him understand Cybertronian. see also, the hacking stuff. see also, his grudge against the Major. perfect fit lmao.)
(HE ALSO WASN'T SURE ALASTAIR WOULD EVEN GO FOR IT ANYWAY i mean, dude had good reason to NOT want to sign up with robot war machines or follow a villain-sort of leader again. so.)
(I think the other person kiryu was thinking of in this thread was probably dark bakura BECAUSE I HONESTLY CANNOT think of anyone else in his tiny circle of CR who would have been even remotely plausible. like. literally the only other person who it could have been was probably-a-robot Bruno, but Bruno is a hero-type FOR SURE. kiryu could tell that from a mile away. so it's obviously not him.)
(anyway IMAGINE DARK BAKURA AS A DECEPTICON LMAO bc he wouldn't have gone for it i don't think but i find it hilarious to think about anyway.)
(but honestly, there really weren't a whole lot of suitable candidates in the game at this point anyway, whether the three of them knew them or not. so... :( boo hoo his team where did it go...)

(also yeah like. as kiryu says in here, the Orichalcos power wasn't why he thought of asking Alastair. BUT uh. let's just say he would have been a lot more unsure about asking Alastair to join if he didn't have it at this point. LIKE LET'S BE REAL HERE, WITHOUT IT, ALASTAIR IS KIND OF...BREAKABLE. if you're going to go out and fight the fucking Major, it's good to have a power that might help keep you from dying easily lmao.)
(LIKE. SHOCKWAVE ALREADY GETS CONCERNED ABOUT KIRYU GETTING HURT IN THESE SITUATIONS. AND HE'S ALWAYS BEEN ABLE TO DEFEND HIMSELF. ALASTAIR HAVING THE ORICHALCOS POWER IS DEFINITELY A PLUS HERE.)
